This is a very NICE set for the price, and I recommend it for small areas. I bought the Tobacco Black collection, and it's not really a true black, but more like a dark dark dark brown, almost black. I got this set to put in a vacant house I've on the market. This dining set creates the empty house feel more homey, and it offers potential buyers a place to sit down to write up an offer (I hope!). I assembled it without any help, and it took me about 2-1/2 hours. Setting it up from the shipping box took almost given that the assembly.... ok, I'm exaggerating there, but it was VERY well packed, and every one of the portions were in pristine condition. As a result of size total pounds of the shipping package (104 lbs), I opened up the box where it was provided down stairs, and carried the items upstairs. Assembly was EASY, only time consuming. I'm a power tool, person, so assembly with just an allen wrench is certainly tedious for me. I did work with my cordless drill to drive the screws that hold the seat section onto the couch. But you have to be careful when utilizing a power drill thus that you don't over-tighten the screws, that could cause them to completely go through the chair. When assembling the chairs, it's best to not totally tighten the allen bolts immediately. Tighten them to where they will be snug nevertheless, you still have some more turns, after that take the chair and put it upright on the floor ( use a difficult floor, not carpeting). In that case take one of the seats and devote on the chair and sit on it to get the chair level, then end tightening all of the allen bolts, being cautious to not mess up the alignment you merely made to get it level. Once carried out, it looks great.
