This is an extremely NICE set for the price, and I recommend it for small areas. I purchased the Tobacco Black set, and it's not a true black, but more like a dark dark darkish, almost black. I acquired this set to put in a vacant house I have on the market. This dining set produces the empty house feel even more homey, and it gives potential buyers a destination to sit back to write up an offer (I am hoping!). I assembled it by myself, and it took me about 2-1/2 hours. Setting it up from the shipping box took practically so long as the assembly.... fine, I'm exaggerating there, but it was Perfectly packed, and all of the items were in pristine condition. Due to the size total fat of the shipping and delivery package (104 lbs), I opened up the box where it was delivered down stairs, and carried the pieces upstairs. Assembly was EASY, only time consuming. I'm a power tool, person, so assembly with just an allen wrench is certainly tedious for me. I did employ my cordless drill to drive the screws that contain the seat section onto the seat. But you have to be careful when by using a power drill thus that you don't over-tighten the screws, that could cause them to completely go through the seat. When assembling the chairs, you need to not completely tighten the allen bolts immediately. Tighten them to where they will be snug but you still have a few more turns, after that take the chair and set it upright on the floor ( use a hard floor, not carpeting). Then take among the seats and devote on the chair and take a seat on it to find the chair level, then end tightening all the allen bolts, being careful to not mess up the alignment you just made to get it level. Once carried out, it looks great.
